If you’re using Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or a Windows 365 Cloud PC, you can easily set up your session to use multiple monitors. This allows you to work across all your screens just like on your local computer.

Step 1 – Open the Windows App

Launch the Windows App on your PC. Under Devices, locate the workspace that contains the resource you want to connect to.

  • Click the three dots () next to the resource name.

  • Select Settings from the menu.

Step 2 – Adjust Display Settings

In the Display tab:

  1. Toggle Use default settings to Off.

  2. Under Display configuration, select All displays from the dropdown.

  3. Make sure Single display when in windowed mode is turned Off.

  4. Optionally, you can keep Fit session to window turned On so the session automatically resizes.

Step 3 – Connect to Your Desktop

Once you’ve adjusted the display settings, click Connect on your resource. Your Azure Virtual Desktop or Cloud PC will now launch across all connected monitors.

✅ Tip: If you ever need to go back to a single screen, just return to the settings and change the display configuration to one monitor.
