This guide will go through the steps to sign into UKG using Okta SSO. 

At this time, there are two ways to sign into UKG: direct login and Okta SSO. Direct Login is a username & password that you setup within UKG.


If you are a new employee, you will need to setup your Direct Login for UKG, even if you only use Okta SSO to login. 


Steps to Login using Okta SSO

There are two ways to login to UKG via Okta SSO: by going to the App Portal or using a shortcut link. The following steps include screenshots on what to expect. 



1. Go to the PGIS App Portal and login using your work email address. 

There are a few ways to access the Okta App Portal dashboard. 

  • If on a company managed device, select the Patriot Favorites, and then select the PGIS App Portal
  • Go to pgis.okta.com




2. Select the UKG Pro (SSO) tile

3a. You will be logged into UKG!*

*If you are a New Employee, you may need to setup your Direct Login to UKG. This includes setting up a password and security questions. See step 3b. below for some screenshots.










3b. New Employee Direct Login Setup

After selecting the UKG tile, you will need to setup your UKG Direct Login. 

1. Change your password from the default. Your default password will be provided to you.

2. Setup security questions for account recovery. 


If you need more assistance with UKG, please reach out to HR. 


After completing these, you may need to close your browser and login via Okta into UKG. Otherwise, you session can be stuck in a log out loop.
