If you entered a policy in error and want to delete it, you need to check the stage of the policy in the service summary row prior to deleting it. Depending on the stage, you may or may not be able to delete it.

There are 3 stages:

In Process

Submitted

Issued

Each stage has a different workflow of how to get rid of a policy on the main policy screen.

In Process - That can be deleted by clicking the 'x' next to the policies on the left side. As long as there is no open activity, you should be able to delete the line. If there is an open activity, you can close it.

Submitted - You can go to Actions and Issue/Not Issue Policy and select the 'not issue' radio button and put the expiration date the same as the effective date in the pop up box. Enter in a reason like "Entered in Error" and the policy should fall off the screen on the predetermined date that your agency has set for it to fall off.

Issued - You would have to flat cancel by going to Actions and Issue/Not Issue policy and putting the expiration date the same as the effective date and putting a reason in like "Entered in Error".  That will fall off of the policy screen within a specified date that your agency predetermines has set for it to fall off.
