- Navigate to the File tab on the top of your Outlook App
2. Click the Info tab.
3. Click on the Account Settings and Delegate Access.
- A new window will appear that will allow you to add delegates and change the permissions they have.
4. You can allow access to your calendar, tasks, inbox, contacts and notes from here (or edit the type of permissions).
If you dont want the delegate to receive meeting related responses (Acceptances, Declines, etc), uncheck "Delegate receives copies of meeting-related messages sent to me"
NOTE: If you are granting access to your mailbox, you will need to change the permissions next to Inbox to whichever permissions you want to provide (read, create, etc)
Note: If you have granted a user access to your Inbox and they want to mount your mailbox in their Outlook Folder List, you will also need to also apply another set of permissions (Folder Visible)
1) Right-click the root level of you mailbox and select Folder Permissions. Do this as well for any sub folders you want to provide: Inbox, Sent Items, etc.
2) In the Folder Permissions properties, click Add and select the person who needs access from the Global Address List, then put a checkmark next to Folder Visible and click OK
