This guide will go through the process of disabling OneDrive’s folder backup Feature.

OneDrive’s Backup feature will automatically sync your Desktop, Documents, and Picture folders to OneDrive. These folders are not shared by default and their backups cannot be turned off.

1. Open the OneDrive Settings.

There are two ways to do this. You can either right-click on the OneDrive icon in the System Tray and select Settings or right-click on the File Explorer section and select Settings

2. Select the Account tab and select Choose Folders.. 




3. Deselect the checkboxes of the folders you want to stop backing up.
