This guide goes over setting up Android devices after Intune Mobile Application Management has been enabled.

Policies are applied to protected apps by just installing the Microsoft Intune Company Portal.

You do not need to sign in to the Company Portal. 

Pin Set Up Process - Android

Once you have been added to the Intune Mobile group, the next time you access a protected app, you will receive a pop up that the Microsoft Intune Company Portal must be installed. Select Go to Store

The Intune Company Portal lets policies be enforced on your device. 

After installing the Company Portal, navigate back to the protected app.

You will receive a screen called “Get Access”. Tap Continue.

You will be prompted to create and confirm a PIN. This PIN will be requested when you access company data on protected apps.
