You may need to adjust your Outlook Desktop settings to find emails older than a certain time frame.

Before trying the steps below, try searching for the email using the Outlook Web App. Login at office.com, and then select Outlook.

You may also need to check your Online Archive, if enabled. 

Complete the following in the Desktop version of Outlook.

1. Select File.



2. Select Account Settings.

3. Select Account Name and Sync Settings.




4. This will open up the Exchange Account Settings window. Adjust the slider to increase the range of email that will be downloaded. 

5. Select Next.



6. Select Done.



7. Close and reopen Outlook.
