This guide will go through setting up Microsoft Authenticator as your MFA option. This can help you while logging in.
Installing the Microsoft Authenticator App
Download the Microsoft Authenticator App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Updating your Multi-Factor Authentication Settings
After installing the Microsoft Authenticator, we will change your MFA settings.
1. Go to this site and log in: Additional security verification page
2. Select Add sign-in method
3. Select Authenticator app
4. Make sure that the Authenticator application is installed on your phone. Select Next
5. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone, and select Add account. Select Work or School.
6. On your phone, select Scan a QR Code. Use your phone to scan the QR code on your computer.
7. After your phone is done adding the account, select Next on your computer. It will prompt you to enter in a number on your phone.
8. You will be returned to the Security Info page. To set the Authenticator app as your default sign in method, select Set Default Sign-In Method
